Hello!  Finally a sunny and not-so-windy day.  Temps are supposed to be up and bring on spring!

I have decided that my world was too black and white and wanted to try color this year.  I have been playing around with ways to bring that color into my pen and inks without taking something away from them.  I found, while scouring the internet on many artist's sites, that I can add a touch of watercolor with watercolor pencils without having to drown my artwork.  I have been "coloring" like mad the past two days.....here is a look at what I have been doing.

Happy Monday!  I have been away for a while trying to pull new ideas and pics together...not going as I had planned.

I have found that while trying to put new ideas on paper, I still enjoy putting them on canvas as well!  I have not painted in years and last week I was on a mission to put something on my blank dining room wall.  It has been empty for two years and it needed some color and something fun.  I could not find what I was looking for, so I decided to create it myself....a big canvas full of green and finished with red poppies to brighten things up a bit.  I usually add pain-staking detail, but this time decide to let out all frustration and have fun.  I love it!  My kids hugged me when they saw it...I guess I did okay. =)
